Greetings Dear Friends from The HOPE.

We have been blessed to work with our dear friends at Remote Area Medical (RAM) for several years now. We actually try to go with them when they do health clinics in the rural Appalachian communities that we serve. We contribute hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpastes, soap, shampoo) and build hygiene bags to distribute to the patients as they leave these much needed healthcare events. And we know that these items are desperately needed and that those receiving them are extremely grateful for them. We also try to help with donations to help cover their events expenses. And we sometimes help with needed healthcare equipment costs.

At the recent RAM Clinic in Oneida, TN they saw and treated almost 700 patients. Many of them had very serious and urgent healthcare needs. For most of those who came seeking medical help just getting there was a major challenge. Many were in serious pain but made the journey just hoping they would be treated and cared for. Please remember this incredible organization and their healthcare volunteers and staff members. You can also find out more information about RAM at their web-site www.ramusa.org.

Thanks for your friendship & support and for all you do to help us extend The HOPE in so many special ways.

Sincerest Regards;
Emmette Thompson, Executive Director – Mission of Hope
