Greetings Dear Friends,

We recently celebrated our 6th annual Mission of Hope Scholar\’s Appreciation Dinner. Once again this year we were at the Cumberland Inn in Williamsburg, KY. It’s a perfect halfway point for both TN & KY scholars. The food was great and the warm fellowship was superb. We had a good representation of Mission of Hope friends as well as scholars and their families. We celebrated the incredible accomplishments of students who dare to dream and for many become the first in their family’s history to attend college.

We ended the evening\’s festivities by giving each new scholar winner a MOH cap and tee-shirt. And then we blew them away with a new laptop, printer, carrying case. We also provided free gas cards to help with each family\’s expenses. And then we encircled the entire room for a closing prayer for them. A very special thank you to our MOH Scholarship Committee:  Misty Mayes-Chair, Dick Fowler, Steve Jones, Cindy Lloyd, Carolyn Meadows, Mary Sue Miller, Jim Montgomery, Andrea Keck Turner, Phil Blair, Misty\’s Assistant, Tammie Lambdin and Diane Webster from the MOH office for their time and hard work. And a hearty thanks as well to the Cumberland Inn staff.  We also appreciate our Mission of Hope friends helping too.

Our Mission of Hope Scholarship Program is truly making a difference and changing lives, as wells as helping to break the cycle of poverty. We are humbly and immensely grateful for the privilege to serve in this manner. We sincerely and genuinely thank you for all you do to help us extend The HOPE.
