Greetings Dear Friends from The HOPE.

Wow, where did yet another year go? Nonetheless, it’s a New Year and time for a fresh start. Thank you for all you have done to help us here at the Mission of Hope in so many ways this past year. We truly cherish your prayers, your friendship, and your support. Bless you for deeming us worthy.

As we begin the New Year, I hope we can continue to do all we are so privileged to do, to help those struggling to get by in the very depressed and rural communities we serve throughout Appalachia. We are now assisting 27 elementary schools, 13 high schools, and have helped at some time 55 different Mountain Ministry Centers. We now have 51 students on scholarship at numerous community colleges, technical schools, and universities in both Tennessee and Kentucky. We were blessed to partner with RAM (Remote Area Medical) on medical clinics in these areas, and we did home repairs and built handicap ramps in these areas as well. We sent MOH trucks loaded with various resources food, hygiene, clothing, furniture, household items, appliances, building materials, Bibles & tracts, etc. all throughout the year last year and it in turn was given to those that were truly in need. Our Back to School Program provided new backpacks & school supplies to almost 11,000 students. And, our just completed Christmas Program assisted over 18,000 children and their family members. We also got to assist 6 Mountain Ministry Centers with items for their Christmas giveaways too. Also, the number of both children and adults we got to pray for and also help accept Jesus is yet undetermined.

We have been immensely blessed and for that we are extremely grateful. But we could never do what we do without you. Thank you for what you do in so many ways to help us extend True & Genuine HOPE.

Sincerest Regards;
Emmette Thompson – Executive Director @ Mission of Hope
