Greetings Dear Friends…from The HOPE.
I have shared with you previously about what a privilege it is to be a vessel of hope for those who need it. And we have just experienced that joy again by building our last handicap ramp of the year. As it turned out, the lady we built it for was in a rehab facility after falling and breaking her hip, and couldn\’t be released until she had this ramp. We drove to Scott County, TN in a hard pouring rain, uncertain we would even get to work, but then God poured the sun on us and it ended up being a beautiful fall day.
A hearty thank you to our ramp team who came with me this day: Barry Ownby, George Cooper, Dennis Carwile, Jack Welch, and Terry Longworth. And I also want to offer a special thanks to Barry Ownby who has led our MOH Construction Ministry again this year. We are also truly grateful for the opportunity to work with Morgan-Scott Project Ministry Center who helped locate and qualify this much needing family. When we gathered around the son and his wife for our closing prayer moment they expressed their gratitude for us helping their mother be able to come back to her home before the arrival of winter.
Thanks for your friendship & support and for all you do to help us extend True HOPE in so many ways.
Sincerest Regards;
Emmette Thompson – Executive Director, Mission Of Hope
