Greetings, Mission of Hope Friends;
We have received quite a number of handicap ramp requests recently for our construction Ministry here at The Hope. It is one of, if not the most serious needs requests we get. And what a difference it can make for the person and or family it is built for.
We currently have a list of 10 Handicap Ramp Projects that we would like to get completed that are located in rural communities in Tennessee and not too far from Knoxville. We have now completed 2 of these ramps and would like to help if possible to complete the others before we get into our very busy Christmas Program Season. We would truly welcome your assistance and volunteer support to do these.
Perhaps you have a group from your Church and or Sunday School Class, co-workers at your company, or other interested volunteers would be willing to step up and go and do one or more of these much needed projects. We just need for those who go to have construction knowledge and be able to complete each handicap ramp they start. And we also welcome financial donations to help purchase the needed building materials for the ramps we build; but if your Volunteer Team can\’t pay for all of the needed building materials we may be able to assist. For more details and information about these projects, or to Volunteer; please the MOH Office at 865-584-7571.
Thanks for your friendship & support and for all you do to help us extend The Hope.
Sincerest Regards;
Emmette Thompson, Executive Director – Mission of Hope
