Greetings, Dear Mission of Hope Friends,

We trust all is well with you.

Every now and then we get them…we don\’t require them…we just cherish them. They are the Thank You cards and letters we receive from those we are so privileged to serve. Please enjoy these truly blessed thank you letters from two of our scholarship students.

Dear Mission of Hope;

I am writing this Letter in gratitude for the previous assistance you have given me in my effort to obtain my degree in nursing. The Scholarship money you have given me has helped a great deal in the cost of tuition, books and commuting to and from class and clinical rotations. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for what you have already done and how grateful I am for this letter of renewal.

However, this scholarship is not the only blessing I have received. The day of the Scholarship Dinner in Williamsburg, I was at a local Walmart, looking for a computer to buy before the start of the semester, knowing that my old computer’s days were numbered. The problem I faced was I had just taken three expensive college courses my senior year of high school and was scheduled to take 16 more credit hours in the summer. Needless to say, when I unexpectedly received the computer at the dinner, me and my entire family were speechless. Nearly a year later I am still at a loss for words. The computer and printer I received have seen extensive use and have been an absolute necessity my first year of college in the integrated nursing program.

In conclusion, I am thankful for a group of people who are truly doing a great work for the Lord, touching lives and showing the love of Christ to many. Thanks again for the renewal of this Scholarship.  It has truly been a blessing to me in the past and will continue to help me this year as further expenses accumulate.
God Bless, Kyle

Dear Mission of Hope;

I am so thankful to be one of the recipients of your Scholarship! Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity of getting closer to fulfilling my dreams of attending Morehead State University and becoming a nurse practitioner!

On April 20th I went and registered for my classes for the fall at Morehead. As a freshman in college, I will be taking a required FYS class, Sociology, Intro to Psychology, Biology and English. Thanks to your Scholarship, the worry of paying for this is more slim than it was! Thank you for making this possible for me!

Before closing this letter, I would like to sincerely thank you for creating such a wonderful Scholarship for kids like me! And Thank you for choosing me as one of the recipients, I promise to try my best to make you proud of your decision!

Thank you for your time, Deanna
