MOH has been busy extending HOPE into rural Appalachia.

Throughout the year, we visit our Mountain Ministry Center friends and deliver much-needed food, furniture, clothing toys, books, bibles, and household goods.

Last week we visited our friends at Team Alma. Team Alma is comprised of 13 volunteers who distribute food, home goods, personal hygiene items, baby supplies, toys, school supplies, and other essentials in Knott County, Kentucky. Alma Eversole and her team strive to improve the lives and future of all community members, to include those from surrounding counties.

Our time with these incredible folks was truly special. Among the highlights was a touching moment with a young girl who recently underwent brain surgery. Despite challenges with walking, her joy on her new bike was priceless!

We are so grateful for these frontline foot soldiers who make sure the items get to those in need. They are true Heroes of the HOPE.
