Spring 2016 Scholarship Update & Appeal…We’re Changing Lives…We Start Awarding 15 NEW Scholarship\’s Tonight (LMU & ALC & 13 Rural High Schools) And We Need Your Help With Donations For Our Scholarship Program.

Dear Mission of Hope Friends…We Have Some Exciting News from The HOPE.

WE’RE SERVING MORE STUDENTS WITH NEW SCHOLARSHIPS… OUR CURRENT SCHOLARS ARE GRADUATING FROM COLLEGE…AND WE’RE HELPING THEM BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY IN THEIR FAMILIES.

It’s a very special time here at The HOPE as we celebrate the Graduation of more of our Scholarship Students. We have watched our Scholars grow and mature in amazing ways these past seven years. Many of them have faced incredible and insurmountable odds just to stay in school on a month to month basis. They have endured hardships, personal challenges, family tragedies and any number of other matters that could have easily stopped their pursuit of getting their diploma. But they didn’t quit…they persevered…and they were determined that they were going to finish School. And now their efforts will be rewarded as they walk across stages, heads held high and pick up the Diplomas they have dreamed for. This my friends…is HOPE FULFILLED.

The Mission of Hope Scholarship Program is trying to help those that dare to dream. Our first Mission of Hope Scholarship Endowment is at Alice Lloyd College in Pippa Passes, KY; in honor of the Bill Williams Family. Our second Mission of Hope Scholarship Endowment is at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN; in honor of the Andrew Courtney Family. Now for the Eighth consecutive year, we are also awarding $2500 Scholarships to 13 NEW Graduating High School Seniors. And we’ll also support our other Scholarship Classes as they continue pursuing their degrees.

We do something extremely special at the Mission of Hope when we award our NEW Scholarships. We actually go and make the presentations ourselves. It’s a very special way we can honor these Graduates for all of their hard work. And we complete the loop of serving and helping these wonderful students that we met at their Elementary Schools with our Back to School and Christmas Delivery Programs. What motivates a Student in a depressed environment and a hopeless situation to keep going? I would offer that it is simply HOPE…The Confident Expectation of Good.

WE NEED YOUR HELP…AND WE NEED IT NOW. We know our Scholarship Program is making a difference and changing lives. You can become a part of our Scholarship Program by making a Donation.  Perhaps you’d like to give a gift in honor or memory of a friend or loved one. Please know we would be grateful if you deemed us worthy. Donations can be made by calling the Mission of Hope office, by visiting our website or by mailing to our address below. Thanks for your friendship and support and for all you do to help us extend True HOPE.
