Scholars Receive Laptops, Printers, Backpacks

Among the many changes at Mission of Hope this year was the cancellation of our annual Scholar Dinner. It’s a special night of celebrating our new Scholars and fellowshipping with our ongoing Scholars and Mentors. 

At this event, the new Scholars are presented with a laptop, a printer, a backpack, and goodies from Mission of Hope. Our Executive Director, Emmette Thompson, was determined to make sure that these 2020 MOH Scholars didn’t miss out and have what they need to start their college career the right way. He, along with members of our Scholarship Committee, made deliveries to every new Scholar! 

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Scholarship Program. You’re helping us give HOPE to college students in Rural Appalachia. And thank you to WBIR for making Mission of Hope their “Perfect 10” again. We hope you enjoy this story:
