Greetings From The HOPE…Trust All Is Well With You And Your Families.

As we continue to go through this health crisis, we are blessed to continue to extend True HOPE to those we are so privileged to Serve in Rural Appalachian Communities.  As we share this mid-July update, we are well underway and immersed in our Back To School preparation and plans.  A tremendous miracle for our Ministry is that we will be serving 30 Rural Appalachian Elementary Schools this year.

We are still awaiting final decisions from each of the School Superintendent Offices as to if and when they will resume school and also whether outside groups will even be allowed in when school does resume. Regardless of whether our Back To School Program Delivery Teams are allowed to attend their assigned schools, we have already made contingent plans to ship every school their needed Backpacks, School Supplies and Hygiene Items for the School Staff to distribute to their Students.

SO, HERE’S WHERE WE TRULY NEED YOUR HELP MORE THAN EVER THIS YEAR.  With the cancellation of our Golf Classic, which the proceeds from help pay for a lot of the Back To School items we give out…we are humbly appealing to our MOH Friends for their donation support.  Some of you may be able to donate $10, $25, or even $100…some of you may be able to donate more.  Please know, we are immensely grateful for whatever you deem our Ministry worthy of.  To make a donation, please visit our website (https://missionofhope1.wpengine.com/donate), mail a check (PO Box 51824, Knoxville, TN 37950), or call our office (865-584-7571).

We feel without hesitation that helping children obtain an education is imperative to breaking the cycle of poverty.  We cannot skip a beat this year in helping all the Students we are blessed to Serve start the school year the right way.

As Always….Thank You For Your Friendship And Support But Thank You Most Of All For What You Do To Extend True And Genuine HOPE.

Sincerest Regards,
Emmette Thompson
