Greetings, Dear Mission of Hope Friends;

It’s time for our Annual Day in the Oneida, TN Park Outreach Event with our dear friends at ALQI in Scott County, TN. We feel so blessed and privileged to be able to do this wonderful event. We have an AWESOME Team of Volunteers coming with us from both FBC Concord and various other churches around the Knoxville, TN area. This event is very special for the Scott County Community, and this year, perhaps even more so. This community has been devastated in recent days by the closing of the hospital there and the recent horrible murder of the local Shelter & Food Pantry Director. And they once again have the highest unemployment percentage in the entire State of TN. They desperately need God\’s Love and HOPE.

I would like to humbly appeal to you for your prayerful support for this Outreach Event, the Volunteer Team leading it, and for this entire Community. And, perhaps most importantly, for the opportunity to share The Gospel and be a vessel of His Love and Hope. At last year\’s event 20 people accepted Christ, and He became for each of those who made that life changing decision their Greatest Source of Hope.

Thank you for your friendship and support and for all you do to help us extend True & Genuine HOPE.

Emmette Thompson – Executive Director
