Whether we’re delivering school supplies, awarding scholarships, or responding to disaster relief needs, we know we are not working alone—we are covered by your prayers and guided by God’s hand.

As we enter a busy season of outreach and preparation, here are three ways you can join us in prayer:

1. Pray for Our New Scholars (Jeremiah 29:11)

This summer, we are welcoming 13 new students into the Mission of Hope Scholarship Program—including our very first Trade Scholarship recipient. These students come from rural communities across Appalachia and are stepping into a new season of growth and learning.
Pray that each one will feel God’s presence as they begin college or trade school, and that they will be reminded often that He has good plans for their lives: “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

2. Pray for Families Facing Hard Seasons (Isaiah 40:29)

Many of the families we serve are still recovering from last year’s historic flooding—and now, some are picking up the pieces after recent tornadoes tore through their communities.
In addition to these hardships, the summer months can bring increased food insecurity and isolation. As our team delivers supplies, offers encouragement, and partners with local ministries, pray that these families will experience strength, comfort, and tangible reminders that they are not alone. “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”

3. Pray for Hearts to Be Anchored in Christ (Hebrews 6:19)

Everything we do is rooted in the hope of the Gospel. Whether it’s a hygiene kit, a backpack, or a scholarship award, our prayer is that it opens the door to deeper connection and eternal truth.
Please pray that those we serve will experience the love of Jesus in a real and lasting way. “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” In the chaos and uncertainty of this world, may our neighbors find peace in the One who never changes.

We’re grateful for every donation, every volunteer hour, and every prayer that makes this ministry possible. As we continue serving families across rural Appalachia this summer, thank you for standing with us—in spirit, in support, and in prayer.
