Season’s Greetings Dear Mission of Hope Friends…From The HOPE.

We have been richly blessed this past year with the privilege of serving those in extreme poverty throughout rural Appalachian Communities. Working with Elementary Schools and Mountain Ministry Centers located in these areas, we feel we are making a difference helping them assist those in dire need there. Our hearts truly break for those that are struggling in areas which offer little opportunity for new jobs or prosperity. And once again this past year many, many coal mining jobs have been totally eliminated, which provided an economic stability for many.

We minister in a variety of ways here at The HOPE. Envision a tree with two roots and seven branches.  The two roots we serve the rural poor through are: Elementary Schools and Mountain Ministry Centers.  The seven branches are: Resource Distribution, Back to School Program, Christmas Program, Healthcare, Construction, Scholarship and Evangelism. It’s a good approach to help serve those in dire need and yet ensure accountability for our supporters. Last year we put 89 cents of every dollar back into our Ministry.

Our hearts have been broken as I’m sure yours have been too…with the recent tragic fires in the Mountains. The devastation, the personal loss, the grief…is totally overwhelming to those impacted. And yet, the strength of those who both live in these affected areas and those First Responders…are truly inspirational. We lead the charge of encouraging each of us…to uplift continually all of those affected with our Prayers. We actually encourage others to support their needs and understand that may be the most important thing to do this year.

Doing what we do year after year…it’s an incredible blessing to know that people believe in your cause and support your ministry efforts. We so appreciate those who deem us worthy of their Donations…and we are immensely grateful for them. For additional information or to make a Donation please contact the Mission of Hope office at 865-584-7571.  Or you may mail your Donation to Mission of Hope at P.O. Box 51824; Knoxville, TN  37950. And you may also give online at www.missionofhope.org.

We believe without hesitation and with childlike faith…there is always HOPE. Please cherish the wonderful Thank You Acrostic below from one of the Students we are so blessed to serve. May it touch your heartstrings and remind you of how grateful those we assist truly are.
