Greetings Dear Mission of Hope Friends.

It’s a New Year at The HOPE and we\’re \”Off and Running\”.

We were so blessed in 2013 to be able to serve those in need which God put in our path in numerous rural and depressed Appalachian communities. And our MOH Christmas Delivery Program saw us be able to assist all 27 rural elementary schools we selected (TN & KY Counties) and assist a little over 17,500 children and their families. And we were then able to assist 5 different Mountain Ministry Centers with donations we gave them of food, hygiene items, clothes, toys, and Bibles & tracts which they in turn gave out at their Christmas programs. It was an incredible and humble and sweet feeling at The HOPE when we were able to stop and catch our breath for a brief moment over the holidays. We are truly grateful for God\’s provisions and our dedicated MOH donors, sponsors, and volunteers.

And now we begin the journey of where God will take us and who He will put in our path this year. In upcoming days and weeks, we will be sending out our 2014 Key Dates Calendar as well as several info updates regarding the various aspects of our year-round ministry efforts. Please remember that the needs of those in poverty don\’t cease at Christmas. We are already sending out MOH truckloads of food, hygiene, clothing, furniture, appliances, building materials, blankets, heaters, etc.; to the Ministry Centers we are so privileged to work with so that they can in turn help extend resources and God\’s love to those in need.

For more information about what we do throughout the year, please call our office at: 865-584-7571 or visit our web-site at: www.missionofhope.org. But we appeal for your prayers most of all for those we serve.

Thanks for your friendship & support and for all you do to help us extend True & Genuine HOPE.

Sincerest Regards;
Emmette Thompson, Executive Director – Mission of Hope
