After Completing All Of The 29 Rural Appalachian Elementary School Christmas Deliveries…

We Started Helping 6 Mountain Ministries Which We Serve And Assist.  We’ve Been Looking For A Small, Mountain Christian School… And Oh My, We Found It.

Last Week, We Visited Landmark Christian Academy In Oneida, TN And Delivered Toys, Food, Hygiene, Bibles, And School Supplies.  We Had A Very Special Time Visiting With The Teachers And Students.  We Wanted To Share A Few Pictures And A Very Sweet Email We Received From The School’s Principal, Missy Bevins…

“Dear Mr. Thompson and Ms. Mills,

     I do not even know how to begin to express our gratitude for all that you gave to our school yesterday. We are so thankful for everything. We completed the giveaway for our in-school students yesterday afternoon, and I have never seen so many smiles and tears of joy from our students and their families. That in itself was enough to make Christmas for our staff. We are still trying to determine if it was real or just an illusion. We are giving things to our homeschool students today, so our blessings are continuing every hour even as I am writing this email. The looks of pure joy on the children’s faces and the tears from the parents as they explain how they prayed because they didn’t know how they were going to have Christmas for their children is both amazing and heartbreaking. While I am thrilled to be able to be the one to give out this blessing, I make sure they all know that this comes from you. Our school has been in operation for over 40 years and this is the first time we have ever been blessed in this compacity. All our staff is unpaid and only here because this is where God has laid it on their hearts to be. So, with limited funding and everything coming from our own pockets the school supplies was an unexpected but desperately needed surprise for us. The Bibles alone was a great gift, and that is a requirement for all our students, which they need for our daily devotions. I have attached a few of the pictures from our in-school giveaway, with more to come of the pictures from our in-school giveaway, with more to come, and with your permission I would like to submit the group picture and a brief statement to our local papers. I just wanted to touch base and let you all know how thankful we are that you allowed our staff to be a part of this blessing and to thank you both and your organization for what you have done. I know you all get a blessing from God and that your hearts are in this and it shows in all you do. It is always amazing to find good Christian people thriving to be Christ-like in an ungodly world. Thank you for all you do, as thank you for making Landmark Christian Academy a recipient for your organization. May God continue to bless you and all your ministries.”
