Greetings Dear MOH Friends from The Hope.
We\’ve received several humble appeals for help with the building of much needed handicap ramps. It’s a very serious need for someone that is ill and can\’t get out of their home. And many times the caregiver just can\’t get them outside to just go to a doctor\’s appointment or to run an errand.
So we\’re starting next week to evaluate several handicap ramp projects and would truly welcome your help with the construction of these. Perhaps your church, Sunday school class, civic group, company employees, etc., would like to step up and take one to build. We can assist with the needed building supplies, but we also would be very grateful for each volunteer team paying for them as well.
For more information and or to sign up to build a handicap ramp for a very needy family, please call me at the Mission of Hope office at 865-584-7571. We plan to build several of these between now and October 31st.
Thanks for your servant hearts and spirits and for all you do to help us extend True Hope in many ways.
Sincerest Regards;
Emmette Thompson, Executive Director – Mission of Hope
