Today’s ministry delivery took our Mission of Hope team to Williamsburg, Kentucky, where we had the privilege of partnering with the Gateway Pantry, a ministry branch of the Gospel Barn. What arrived was more than a truckload of food—it was a reminder of how God works through willing hands, faithful partnerships, and hearts ready to serve.

The food delivered today will now be distributed throughout the community by Troy Cupps and his dedicated volunteers. Their commitment to serving neighbors with consistency and care is a powerful example of what it looks like to live out the call to love others well. Each box represents a family helped, a burden eased, and a reminder that they are not forgotten.

In the middle of unloading and organizing, there was a moment that captured the heart of the day perfectly. A guitar, a stage, and smiling volunteers—just another reminder that ministry often comes with joy and a few unexpected moments. Music filled the space, and for a brief time, it felt like worship met service in the most natural way. It was a beautiful picture of how God’s presence shows up not only in prayer and preaching, but also in laughter, song, and shared purpose.

Scripture reminds us in Galatians 6:9:
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Days like today encourage us to keep going. They remind us that even when the work feels routine or behind-the-scenes, God is using it in ways we may never fully see.

We are incredibly thankful for our volunteers who give their time, energy, and hearts to make these deliveries possible. Whether driving trucks, unloading food, organizing supplies, or simply showing up with a willing spirit, our volunteers are the hands and feet of this ministry.

If you’ve ever wondered how you can make a difference, we would love for you to join us. Volunteering with Mission of Hope is more than helping with logistics—it’s about building relationships, sharing hope, and being part of what God is doing in communities across our region.

Thank you to everyone who played a role in today’s delivery, and to our partners at the Gateway Pantry and the Gospel Barn for faithfully serving Williamsburg. We are grateful to walk alongside you and honored to be part of this work.
