Recently, we had the privilege of making a special delivery trip to our friends at Pinnacle Resource Center (PRC), an organization dedicated to serving the Scott, Morgan, and Campbell county areas since 2009. PRC provides essential services such as emergency shelter, food, clothing, and social support to assist in the social rehabilitation of those in crisis.

One of the cornerstones of Pinnacle Resource Center’s outreach efforts is their weekly food pantry, held every Tuesday. What sets this pantry apart is its unique approach of offering a “Customer Choice” experience. Unlike traditional food pantries where individuals receive a pre-made box of items, PRC’s Customer Choice pantry allows residents in need to shop around for the items they require. This empowers individuals to select the food items that best suit their dietary needs and preferences, ensuring they receive not only what they need but also what they want to eat.

The impact of this initiative cannot be overstated. For many members of the community, the PRC food pantry is a lifeline, providing them with access to nutritious food and essential supplies that they may not otherwise be able to afford. By offering a dignified and personalized shopping experience, Pinnacle Resource Center not only meets the immediate needs of individuals and families but also fosters a sense of empowerment and autonomy.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support Pinnacle Resource Center in their mission to serve the community. Their dedication and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others are truly inspiring. We encourage anyone interested in learning more about this remarkable ministry to visit their website.

Thank you to Pinnacle Resource Center for your unwavering dedication to serving those in need. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact on our community and beyond.
