Season’s Greetings…Dear Mission of Hope Friends;
What a Blessed Update this is for yet another MOH Christmas Delivery Trip. May it touch your Heart.
Dear Emmette and Friends,
Merry Christmas to everyone! Last Friday, Faith Fellowship delivered Christmas to Smoky Mountain School in Cosby. We were met with excited boys and girls and very grateful hearts. We did a short program reminding them the real reason for Christmas, where the gifts come from, and how grateful we are to everyone that gives to Mission of Hope.
The following are a few quotes from the many Thank You notes given to us from the children:
“This is so nice of you to do for us. You inspire everyone to give”-Ashton 10 years old
“I really will miss you when you leave. I am thankful for what you do. The world would be less happy right now without you. You are teaching kids the true meaning of giving. Thank you so much for the toys. God bless you. You really are great people.”-Robert 8 years old
“I am thankful for what you did for Smoky Mountain School. I love going to church, but my Mom and I never have time anymore. I will try to come to church.” – Haley 10 years old
“I would just like to say thanks for making our school have a good Christmas. You will help kids that don’t get Christmas. You do so much for us. You are helpful to kids that don’t have much. You people are good people. I hope you have a Merry Christmas!” – Megan 11 years old
“The best Christmas present I ever got was when Jesus became my Savior, and the greatest gift I can give is to love somebody else.” – Phoebe 11 years old
Christmas Blessings to all,
Rita
Thanks for your friendship and support and for all you do to help us extend The Hope.
Sincerely;
Emmette Thompson, Executive Director – Mission of Hope
