A Legacy of Joy: Bucky’s Bikes Christmas Donations Bring Cheer to Hundreds

At Mission of Hope, we’re continually amazed by the generosity and heart of those who partner with us to bring hope and joy to Appalachian communities. One of the most inspiring stories we’re privileged to share is that of Bucky’s Bikes of Knoxville.

This year, they’ve blessed us once again with an extraordinary donation: 667 bikes, each accompanied by a helmet, in honor of Bucky Jones. For 12 years, this heartfelt tradition has brought smiles to countless children, fulfilling Bucky’s belief that every child deserves the simple joy of a bike at Christmas.

Bucky’s legacy is lovingly upheld by his family and the dedicated team at Holston Hills Country Club, who work tirelessly to ensure this dream continues. Their generosity doesn’t just provide bikes; it creates unforgettable moments of happiness and freedom for children who may not otherwise have such opportunities.
