At Mission of Hope, scholarships are about more than helping students pay for college. They are about walking alongside young people as they pursue the calling God has placed on their lives. Through mentorship, encouragement, prayer, and support, we have the privilege of watching students grow into leaders who are making a difference in their communities and beyond.
Today, we are honored to share the story of one of our scholarship recipients who is preparing to graduate in May 2026 with a degree in nursing. Her testimony is a beautiful reminder of how God can use education, compassion, and faith to impact lives in powerful ways.
“I am very blessed to be a Mission of Hope scholarship recipient, and I will be graduating in May 2026. I am so thankful that I was given this opportunity. I truly can’t say enough good things about this program and all that they have done for me.
When I heard about this program in 2023 while I was in high school, I was encouraged by my guidance counselor to apply. I knew in my heart that I wanted to become a nurse, but I also knew that college is expensive and it would be hard for me to achieve those dreams. I am so thankful for this scholarship and this program, as they have helped me through my two years of the nursing program.
When I started two years ago, I knew that I wanted to be a light for Jesus. I wanted to be able to share Him with my patients who are at their sickest, hardest moments in life. Recently I was able to share the gospel with a patient, and he accepted Jesus into his heart before he passed. I am able to share the love of Christ that these patients may have never heard before. I wouldn’t be able to do those things if it wasn’t for Mission of Hope and all their support and encouragement throughout my college experience. They have always been praying for me, and I am also very thankful for my mentor, Kennedy. She is always checking on me, sending encouraging words, and praying for me through exams.
I thank God for placing this program in my life, and I want to thank everyone for all their love, kindness, and support. It truly means the world to me.”

Stories like this remind us that the impact of a scholarship reaches far beyond the classroom. Because of faithful supporters, students are not only earning degrees, they are becoming compassionate leaders, serving others, and sharing the love of Christ wherever they go.
We are so proud of this scholar and all she has accomplished so far. As she prepares to graduate and begin her career in nursing, we know God will continue to use her in incredible ways.
Thank you to everyone who supports the Mission of Hope Scholarship Program. Your prayers, generosity, and encouragement are helping students pursue their dreams while making an eternal impact in the lives of others.
