Mission of Hope’s 3rd Annual Sporting Clays Tournament will take place on May 15 at Iron Mountain Sporting Clays in Kodak, Tennessee. This event offers a day of friendly competition in a beautiful outdoor setting, but more importantly, it is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children across Appalachia.
At its heart, this tournament is about impact.
Each year, Mission of Hope serves thousands of children and families through programs designed to meet both immediate needs and create long-term opportunities. Through the Back to School Program, more than 10,000 students receive backpacks filled with supplies and encouragement to start the school year strong. During the Christmas season, over 10,000 children are served through local schools and ministry centers, receiving gifts that remind them they are seen and cared for.
Beyond seasonal outreach, Mission of Hope is committed to walking alongside students as they plan for their future. The College Scholarship Program provides not only financial assistance, but also mentorship and support as students take the next steps in their education. At the same time, ongoing food distribution and relief efforts help families facing economic hardship or recovering from difficult circumstances.
Events like the Sporting Clays Tournament play an important role in making all of this possible.
When individuals and teams participate, they are doing more than spending a day on the course—they are helping provide resources, encouragement, and opportunity for children who need it most. Every registration, every sponsorship, and every contribution helps extend the reach of Mission of Hope across rural communities.
The day itself is designed to be both enjoyable and meaningful. Whether you are an experienced shooter or new to sporting clays, participants can expect a welcoming environment, time to connect with others, and the shared purpose of supporting a mission that is changing lives.
There is something powerful about coming together around a cause like this. What may seem like a simple day outdoors becomes part of a much larger story—one where children are supported, families are strengthened, and hope is shared in tangible ways.
We invite you to be part of that story.
