For 30 years, Mission of Hope has been bringing hope, joy, and essential support to children and families across rural Appalachia. This holiday season, the 2025 Cyber Barrel Christmas Drive officially begins Friday, November 21, and runs through Tuesday, December 10.
Each Christmas, Mission of Hope delivers new toys, coats, clothes, food, and hygiene items to over 10,000 people across the region. Many families in Appalachia continue to face economic hardships, job losses, and setbacks from recent natural disasters. The Cyber Barrel Drive helps ensure children and families experience the joy and comfort of Christmas despite these challenges.
How You Can Help
Give Online: Shop from our Cyber Barrel registries and have items shipped directly to the Mission of Hope warehouse. Once received, donations are packed and delivered to students and families in need.
Donate In Person: For those who prefer to give locally, our iconic Blue Barrels are set up at Food City, Home Federal Bank, Fisher Tire, and Barnes & Noble. These barrels welcome donations of toys, coats, food, and hygiene items throughout the campaign period.
Special Event – Pack the Lobby: Kentucky supporters can participate in a one-day collection event at WKYT on Tuesday, December 2, where new toys and children’s coats will be collected to support Mission of Hope families during Christmas deliveries.
Making a Difference
Your gifts make a real difference, bringing essential items, comfort, and joy to thousands of families each year. By participating in the Cyber Barrel Drive, whether online or in person, you are helping Mission of Hope continue its 30-year legacy of extending hope throughout rural Appalachia.
