Dear Mission of Hope Friends;

At the Mission of Hope, we try to give HOPE to students who desire to have a better life and to better themselves. We have learned firsthand, that the only true way to break the cycle of poverty is through education.

It’s a very special time here at the HOPE as we celebrate the graduation of 8 more of our Mission of Hope scholars this spring and summer for a total of 88 graduates. Our graduates have received degrees in a variety of fields such as business administration, nursing, education, welding, diesel mechanics, social work, mechanical, civil & industrial engineering, electrical technology, occupational therapy, agriculture, economics, and many more. This is HOPE fulfilled.

The Mission of Hope scholarship program is trying to help those that dare to dream. We began several years ago with scholarship endowments at Alice Lloyd College in Pippa Passes, KY (in honor of the Bill Williams Family) and Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN (in honor of the Andrew Courtney Family). Now for the fifteenth consecutive year, we are awarding $3,000 scholarships to 16 NEW graduating high school seniors, one Alice Lloyd student and one LMU student for a total of 18 new scholarships. In fall 2023, we will have 56 scholars on active scholarship.
