Greetings, Dear Mission of Hope Friends;

It’s Scholarship Time at the Mission of Hope! High School Students all over the Appalachian Communities we serve need our help. For many, who dare to DREAM, financial help from others may be their only Hope.  And that\’s what we\’re all about helping fulfill True & Genuine HOPE.

Every now and then we get special Thank You cards and letters from those we are so privileged to serve.  Please enjoy this truly blessed Thank You from one of our Scholarship Students.

“Hello Friends at Mission of Hope!

First of all, I want to say how thankful I am for your help! My first two years of college have been wonderful. You all have made it easier for me to breathe, not only because you took a huge financial burden from me, but also because I know you all care so much about me, and about every other student that you all are currently helping. It is easy to see that the people at Mission of Hope really want success for their students.

College has been an amazing experience for me. I have loved the classes, the people I met, and the opportunities that have popped up along the way. This semester I am finishing up my General Education classes. I got accepted into the Bachelors of Science in Nursing Program at LMU this Fall! I\’m so excited to start learning. The program takes two years to get through, then I\’ll have my Bachelor\’s degree, and I\’ll be ready to start my career!

I\’m so close to being done with school and I am so determined to finish. I will never forget how much you all have done for me, through the scholarships, the laptop, the banquets that were so uplifting, my mentor… I can\’t even begin to thank you all enough for the help you\’ve already given me!

Also, most importantly, you encourage us to remember that God loves everyone. God has His hand on our shoulder at all times and is sending us in the right direction. I\’m glad that Mission of Hope constantly reminds us to look to God. I\’m so glad that He put you all in my life. He knew I needed you.

Thanks so much, Macy …..”
