BELL COUNTY, KY – REPAIR FAIR (Saturday, April 28th)

For several years now, we have been assisting the Bell-Whitley Community Agency with their Repair Fair.  This is an AWESOME Event and a good opportunity to join us for a great day of fellowship and Construction Projects assistance.  This year our MOH Volunteer Team Captain will be Cliff Overby.  We will leave the MOH Office at 6 AM; drive about 2 hours to Pineville, KY, and meet at the Bell County High School.  We will then be assigned to our Repair Fair Project for the day.  Each Volunteer who participates will get a FREE Event Tee-shirt.  Lunch will also be provided FREE.  We should return to the MOH Office by 6 PM.

Please share this with your Friends and Church & Sunday School members and your Co-workers. Please respond as soon as possible; if you are interested in going to this wonderful Event.

SPRING HANDICAP RAMPS CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS (Dates to be set soon)

We would like to build several NEW and much needed Handicap Ramps this Spring.  I am in the process of getting back specific Ramp projects with details.  The MOH will gladly assist with the cost of all building materials.  If you have a Team of \”Hammerin Hero\’s\” please let us know and we will help you find a Ramp to complete.  What an incredible difference these Ramps make for those who can\’t get in and out of their Homes without them.  Its another wonderful way to help extend True & Genuine Hope. Please respond to the MOH Office if you have interest with this request.

NEEDED ITEMS AT THE HOPE

We welcome your good conditioned Furniture Items.  Have more and more request for them. We also welcome your Non-perishable Food Items.  Our Ministry Centers desperately need them. Please call the MOH Office if you have donations of these items and potential others as well.

A HOPE FILLED MOMENT

A special Thank You to our dear MOH Friends at Healthcare Receivables Group here in Knoxville. They continue to support our humble ministry with their amazing assistance. They recently had a Jeans Week for the MOH.  And they are now having a Soup For The Hope – Food Collection Drive.  They do this to help us here at The Hope and they have been a huge blessing to us. They also collected financial Donations at Christmas time for us in honor of their Manager, Neil Koonce.  But what really drives their interest, is a heartfelt desire to help us take Resources & Hope to those who need them so much.

Please know that we are immensely grateful for all of those who deem us worthy of their Financial Donations, Resource Donations, and their Volunteer Time.  We could never exist without your support.

Thanks for your Friendship and for all you do to help us extend The Hope.

Sincerest Regards;
Emmette Thompson, Executive Director – Mission of Hope
