Greetings, Dear Mission of Hope Friends;

We were recently blessed to be able to go above and beyond the original project request of us at this year’s recent Bell-Whitley Repair Fair in Middlesboro, KY. We feel blessed to be partnered with this wonderful organization and their staff.

Middlesboro Daily News Story

I would like to offer a very special Thank You to all of those Mission of Hope Volunteer Heroes, who assisted with our various projects at this year’s Repair Fair:  Cliff & Joni Overby, Don Peek, Bruce Russell Jr., Jack & Ann Salyer, Mike Bunch, Ralph McCarter, Robbie Johnson, and Marvin Walton. Our Handicap Ramp Volunteer Team Members were: Don Byrd, Jim Jones, David Hill, Jack Watson, Rick Byrd, Rev. Jerry Webster, Don Peek, Walter Bailey, Lewis Breeden, and myself.

What a joy it was on each of our three trips to gather the family members outside and pray with them. On our final visit, we gave them brand new Bibles for their various family members. We shared with them that we were the ones who got the greatest blessing by being God’s servants and extending His Hand of Hope.

Thank you for your friendship and support and for all you do to help us extend True Hope in so many ways.

Sincerely,
Emmette Thompson, Executive Director – Mission Of Hope
