Greetings MOH Friends…From The HOPE.

We continue to be very busy in a number of very special ministry assistance ways here at the Mission of Hope.

RESOUCES DISTRIBUTION
Shirley Plant and Diane Webster put together donations pickups and donations deliveries to the various Mountain Ministry centers and schools – Resource Centers we are so privileged to serve along with the help of our dedicated MOH volunteers. They in turn give them out to those in true need of them.

NEW MOH SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDS
Our Scholarship Committee is assisting me with the awarding of new Mission of Hope Scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the rural communities we serve. These programs are very special to attend and it’s a true blessing to make these presentations in person.

BELL COUNTY, KY REPAIR FAIR
We had 34 MOH volunteers help at this great event which included some from various businesses in Bell County, KY. The dear lady who lived in the house we worked on got emotional over and over throughout the day expressing her gratitude and appreciation for all of our hard work. We were also joined by Delores Cornelius and her daughter Natasia as we celebrated the memories of their dear husband & father. A special thank you to Josh Mills & Bell-Whitley staff for all of their hard work for this event.

BLAINE, KY OUTREACH EVENT
It was a very special day in Blaine, KY as we helped over 350 people with all types of resources that we brought on our MOH trucks. We also had prayer with many of those folks, and 8 people left totally changed from when they came in with the gift of salvation. A special thank you to Rev. Lenny Wheeler & church volunteers and friends for all of their hard work for this event.

SNEEDVILLE, TN – SPRING FEST OUTREACH EVENT
It was a very special day in Sneedville, TN as we served over 400 people with food, fun, games, clowns, prizes, and our love & smiles. We prayed with and for many of them and 8 people got the gift of salvation. A special thank you to Rev. Sheldon Livesay & staff and volunteers for all of their hard work for this event.

Nothing fancy about we try to do. We just loving on people in a variety of ways to help let them know we care about them. And trying to make sure for all of those we assist that they know God loves them and Jesus is their greatest hope.
