Greetings, Dear Mission of Hope Friends;

We\’re well under way with our 2012 Christmas Collection & Delivery\’s Plans and we really do need your help this year. We\’re serving 27 rural elementary schools and almost 17,500 students and their families.

We have a serious need for some key Volunteer Leaders who can serve as Coordinators & Supervisors. We also need other volunteers that can come and help in a variety of ways. Each year, we have key volunteers that can\’t return to help for a variety of reasons. And in some cases, God has called them Home since our Christmas Program last year. So we always have a need for NEW Friends. Maybe you\’ve got the time to help us this Fall for just a few weeks and it may be something you can help us with that you never have thought about before. Could we humbly appeal to you to simply pray about whether you might be able to \”Step Up For The Hope\” during our upcoming Christmas Drive Program this year. I can\’t tell you how much we would be honored by your participation.

We also have a NEW idea for you to consider as well. Our needs are growing more and more each year as we attempt to serve more and more children and families. So here\’s a thought, could you possibly help us collect a little earlier this year? Maybe your church, company, civic group, or other group; could have a NEW Toy, NEW Clothes, or Canned Food Drive for the Mission of Hope in upcoming weeks. It would help us get a much needed \”Jump Ahead\” of all we have to do to be ready to deliver Christmas to all of those we will serve in December. Please remember what ever amount you collect will be AWESOME with us!!!

If you would like to get more information about volunteer opportunities and also learn how you might help us here at the Mission of Hope, please call the MOH Office at 865-584-7571 and speak with either Shirley Plant, Diane Webster, or myself.

Thanks for your friendship and support and for all you do to help us extend True HOPE.

Sincerest Regards;
Emmette Thompson, Executive Director – Mission of Hope
