Season’s Greetings…Dear Mission of Hope Friends;

Please enjoy another AWESOME and BLESSED MOH Christmas Delivery Trip Praise Story from our dear MOH Friends, Team Captain Kathy Rosenbalm & Central Baptist Fountain City.  May it truly bless your heart and remind you of why we do what we do.

Dear Emmette,

What a fantastic day we had today – thanks for the privilege to take some Christmas joy and God’s love to these sweet children and their families; this is our 12th year to be associated with this wonderful school, and it just gets sweeter all the time!  We had over 80 people from Central Baptist in Fountain City and others go with us, and we were all blessed to be there.  A high point of the day was when a bluegrass band made up of Fairview students, a couple of high school students that were former Fairview students, and one college student that also went there played and sang for us to thank us for being there and to say thanks for all that Mission of Hope has done for this school over the years.  What a precious, humbling gift that was, and we were all very touched.  Another praise was that the young man who is a student there and has been undergoing cancer treatments in Knoxville over the past 1 ½ years was able to join us – he was just able to return to school recently.

It is always fun to go, but it is the relationships that we have formed over the past several years that mean the most – with the students, hard-working faculty and janitors, and principal Denise Watson.  I thank you  for all you do, the awesome volunteers that make these deliveries possible, and our marvelous heavenly Father for so many wonderful blessings that we are able to share with these precious, deserving families in Scott County.  I hope you and your family have an especially blessed Christmas and all the very best to you in 2013.

Kathy

Thank you for your friendship and support and for all you do to help us extend True & Genuine HOPE.

Sincerest Regards;
Emmette Thompson, Executive Director – Mission of Hope
