Greetings, Dear Mission of Hope Friends;

We have once again been immensely blessed with an amazing evening of fellowship and celebration as we just completed our 4th Annual Mission of Hope Scholars Appreciation & Celebration Dinner. We were once again at the Cumberland Inn in Williamsburg, KY.  And their Staff was so warm hearted and accommodating. They did a superb job and the food was fantastic.

We had Mission of Hope Scholars from each of our 4 classes present as well as our first Mission of Hope Scholars Graduate, Samantha Brock Parker. Many were accompanied by family and or friends. We were also blessed to have our MOH Board Members, our Scholarship Committee, our Mentors, and several other MOH Leadership Friends preset as well. Unfortunately, we are not able to invite a larger number of MOH Friends to this Event. But, I truly wish every one of you could have been present for a very inspirational celebration and to cherish and enjoy the special moments you help make possible.

Part of the evening was spent just encouraging the scholars with messages and handouts and inspirational comments of why it’s so important to make good decisions and to do your best and stay focused. As we have done in the previous 3 years we gave each New Scholar a MOH Cap & T-Shirt, and a gas card to cover their expenses to and from there, and then a BRAND NEW laptop computer, printer, software, and carrying case. Needless to say…they were ECSTATIC! And to finish the program we stood in a circle with hands clasped together and had prayer. It was a wonderful way to end such a special evening.

We have once again \”Stepped Out On Faith\” and prepaid for all of the items we gave out and for the dinner. If you feel led to deem us worthy, we would be most grateful for a financial donation. Thank you for your ongoing friendship and support and for all you do to help us extend True & Genuine HOPE.

Sincerest Regards;
Emmette Thompson, Executive Director – Mission of Hope
