Greetings, Dear Mission Of Hope Friends;

We once again this year have been privileged to assist our dear Mission Of Hope Friends at KIDS/Compassion Ministry Center and the Perry County, KY Salvation Army; for our annual Fall Giveaway Distribution.  This year we saw more people than ever before.  Over 800 folks came and stood in line, well before we opened; to come in and select a variety of items we brought.  We took 3 Mission Of Hope Trucks this year; full of Furniture, Clothing, Non-perishable Food, Hygiene Items, School Supplies, Toys, Building Materials, and various other items.  We also gave out over 250 Bibles and Tracts and prayed with several folks who came up and asked us too.

This is an event where we see some of the poorest and most hurting people that we will see this year.  They struggle to make ends meet, each and every day.  We feel its an honor to assist the Ministry Centers that we partner with there.  They are the True Hero\’s of Appalachian Ministry; as they strive to meet the physical and spiritual needs of those in their mission field.  Please uplift all of those doing ministry in rural Appalachian Communities and that they will have good health and stay faithful, as they serve every day.

Thanks for your friendship and support and for all you do to help us extend True Hope.

Sincerest Regards;
Emmette Thompson, Executive Director – Mission Of Hope
